Children With DignityFoundation Inc. · Est. 2015Who we are
Children With Dignity Foundation is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit serving children, families, and underserved communities through education, humanitarian assistance, books, and direct outreach.

Our origin
During a post-graduate internship in the Dominican Republic, Renée Douyon entered the bateyes where many undocumented Haitian families lived and worked. She saw children and families confronting poverty, discrimination, and systems that offered little protection.
The experience became a call to action. After three years of groundwork, Children With Dignity Foundation launched on September 17, 2015.
Today, the Foundation combines education, humanitarian assistance, advocacy, books, and community outreach. People should never have to surrender their dignity in order to receive help.
Our compass
We uplift children and families through education, assistance, advocacy, and community-based programs.
We envision communities where every child can live with dignity and promise.
